Weekly Worship Schedule
SUNDAY Sunday School (Sunday School is still on hold due to Covid-19 concerns.) Slatington Baptist Church has Sunday School every week. There are classes for Preschool, Elementary, Middle School, High School and two different adult classes. Sunday School runs from 9:30 am to 10:30 am. The first Sunday of each month a fellowship breakfast is shared at 9am. Lord's Day Worship Worship services begin at 10:45 am. Communion is celebrated during the first Sunday of each month. During the worship service Jr. Church is provided for elementary age children which includes a short Christian lesson and fun activity. Child care is provided for preschool age children. WEDNESDAY Wednesday Bible Study and Prayer meeting is held at 10 am at the church. ****For the summer Bible Study is being held at St. John's UCC church across the street. They are studying the book of Galations.*** THURSDAY Choir practice is held every Thursday at the church from 6:00-8:00 pm to prepare for weekly Sunday service. FALL COMMUNITY SERVICE PROJECTS Christmas Gifts for Food Bank Children In addition to the food collections for the Northern Lehigh Food bank, we will be participating in the children's gift giving program for food bank clients and are asking for donations of gifts for these children. Christmas Gifts for Riverstone Manor Residents We will be purchasing gifts for the residents of Riverstone Manor and will be asking for gift donations for these adult residents. Green Bean Collection- 200 cans of Green beans for Thanksgiving and 200 cans for Christmas are collected and donated to the local food bank to create holiday meal packs. Harvest Home- members of the congregation bring in donations of food items to be donated to our local food bank to share in Thanksgiving for all that the Lord has blessed us with. Ongoing Riverstone Outreach Our ABW will be doing monthly outreach of treats, gift bags, etc. for the residents at Riverstone Manor.
